What we collect, and what we do not.

Disruptive Records B.V. runs disruptiverecords.nl. This page says what the site collects, why, who else sees it, and how to change your mind.

01 Analytics

Usage statistics, only after you say yes.

With your consent we measure how disruptiverecords.nl is used: which pages are opened, from where, on what kind of device, and what people click. Three tools do this: Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager; PostHog, hosted in the European Union; and a cookie of our own that counts visits and, if you join the newsletter, links them to your email address. All three stay off until you accept analytics in the cookie banner.

02 What we collect

Four kinds of data.

  • Contact details. Your email address for the newsletter. For a demo, your name, artist name, track title, where you are based and a private link to the music.
  • Technical data. Your IP address, your browser, the page you asked for and the time, recorded by the server for every request, with or without cookies.
  • Usage data. How the site is used, and for the Meta and TikTok pixels, that you visited. Only with your consent.
  • Your cookie choice. What you answered in the banner.

The site is not directed at children under sixteen and we do not knowingly collect their data.

03 How we use it

Each purpose, with its legal basis.

  • Keeping the site up and spotting abuse: the server logs. Basis: our legitimate interest.
  • Understanding how the site is used: analytics. Basis: your consent.
  • Measuring our advertising and reaching visitors on Meta and TikTok: the marketing pixels. Basis: your consent.
  • Sending the newsletter. Basis: your consent, withdrawn by unsubscribing.
  • Listening to demos and replying. Basis: the steps towards a possible agreement between you and the label.
  • Keeping the newsletter and demo forms free of automated abuse: the spam check described below. Basis: our legitimate interest.
  • Keeping a record of your cookie choice. Basis: our legitimate interest in being able to show what you chose.

04 Cookies

Three categories, one banner.

Necessary cookies keep the site working and remember your banner choice. Analytics cookies measure use. Marketing cookies belong to the Meta and TikTok pixels. Nothing beyond the necessary category is set before you answer the banner, and our own analytics cookie counts visits and, once you join the newsletter, links them to your email address.

A form provider
The demo form.

Spam protection on the forms is Cloudflare Turnstile. It runs when you submit one and reads browser signals to confirm a person is behind it, usually without showing you anything and only asking you to interact if it is unsure. It is not used for advertising or profiling.

We do not sell personal data, and we share it with authorities only when the law requires it. Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, the transfer rests on the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

06 Security and retention

Kept in named tools, no longer than needed.

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Personal data is kept in our own systems and in the tools named above, and demos stay inside the label. We keep each thing for as long as its reason lasts.

  • Server logs: a short period, then deleted.
  • Analytics: for the retention period set in each tool.
  • The newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Demos: while the music is under consideration, then deleted.
  • Your cookie choice: for as long as we need to be able to show it.

07 Your rights

What you can ask of us.

Under the GDPR (in the Netherlands, the AVG) you can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict what we do with it, to receive it in a portable form, and to object where our basis is legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Write to info@disruptiverecords.nl. We answer within a month. If the answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

08 Changes

Dated, like everything we publish.

When this page changes, the version and date at the top change with it. This is version 03, published 4 September 2026.
